Soot came to our rescue alongside Charcoal from a feral colony in Lewis County. Although he spent the first weeks of his life outdoors, he's very sweet and trusting.
Soot is a quiet little guy with a gentle heart. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but with gentle introduction and encouragement, his sweet personality shines through. Every day he grows a little more confident as he discovers that the world isn't nearly as scary as it once seemed.
Soot loves to play and explore. He's also a big fan of gentle pets and cozy cuddle sessions, making him the perfect balance of playful and affectionate. He's also always excited for mealtime and never turns down a tasty snack.
Soot may not be the first kitten to demand attention, but once he trusts you, he'll be there to give you admiration & cuddles. He's the kind of kitty that loves a good petting but he also stays for the sake of a good cuddle.
A loving family who will continue helping Soot build confidence while giving him plenty of opportunities to play, cuddle, and simply be a kitten. He'd do well in almost any home that's willing to let him settle in and be himself.
