🖤 Charcoal by name, marshmallow by heart.

Charcoal came to our rescue alongside Soot from a feral cat colony.  Since the very beginning, he's been as sweet as can be. While he can be a little shy at first, he loves, love. He has such a kind, gentle heart, and every day he grows a little more confident.

Charcoal loves to play, especially with his siblings. He enjoys exploring the world around him, never misses mealtime, and is always happy to curl up for a cozy nap after a day of adventures. He loves a good scratch, especially on his cheeks. He also loves a nice warm lap to lay on just as much.

Although he's still coming out of his shell, it's been wonderful watching his confidence grow. With a loving family, a few fun toys, and plenty of encouragement, there's no doubt this sweet little boy will continue to blossom into an amazing companion.

Charcoal would do well in almost any loving home. He'd especially enjoy a family who will encourage his growing confidence with gentle love, playtime, and lots of reassurance as he continues discovering the world around her.

🐱 Good with Cats

Yes! Charcoal loves other cats, especially his siblings, and enjoys playing and snuggling with them.

🐶 Good with Dogs

Yes! Charcoal does well with dogs and continues to become more comfortable around them every day. He currently lives with our resident Chihuahua Terrier mix Gooby.

👧 Good with Kids

Likely yes! Charcoal would do well with calm, respectful children who understand how to be gentle with a young kitten.

🚽 Litter Box Habits

Excellent! Charcoal has excellent litter box habits and is currently using pellet litter.

🍽️ Diet

Charcoal is free-fed dry kitten food and is offered wet food twice daily. He is currently eating Nulo Kitten recipe.

💔 Dislikes

Loud noises, sudden movements, and unfamiliar situations. He's still learning that the world is a safe place and gains confidence every day.

✨ Adoption Status

      Charcoal is currently available for Pre-Adoption as he awaits his neuter and finishes his vaccines.
