Roo has been part of our rescue for about a year alongside her sister, Winnie. At around a year and a half old, she's grown into a sweet, gentle girl with one very important responsibility: supervising every trip to the kitchen.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a midnight snack, it doesn't matter. If Roo hears someone opening the refrigerator or preparing food, she'll quietly appear to investigate. Whether she's hoping for a tiny taste or simply making sure everything is up to her standards, she's always curious about what's on the menu. And if it's something she likes, well, it's only fair you make her a plate too.
Roo is naturally a shy cat and prefers observing the world rather than being the center of attention. She's what we lovingly call a "shadow cat." She enjoys quietly following along, keeping you company from nearby, and always knowing what's going on without needing to be the focus.
Although she's reserved around people, Roo gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs. She's a peaceful, easygoing companion who enjoys a calm environment and is happiest when she can simply be part of the family.
