Take the time to stop & smell the roses 👃
Rescued from a local feral cat colony alongside her sister, Boop, Snoot is a beautiful dilute calico with the cutest little ginger stripe running down her nose. It gives her an adorably prominent, Squidward-esque snoot, and the name couldn't have suited her better. Since being rescued on July 18th 2026, Snoot has adjusted well to indoor life and is now learning that people can be trusted, too.
Snoot is a gentle little kitten who's still building her confidence around people. She's not mean or defensive in the slightest, just a little unsure. Fast movements and loud noises can make her nervous, but every day she becomes a little braver.
One of Snoot's favorite ways to learn is by watching the other cats. If she sees another cat enjoying pets and attention, she'll slowly work up the courage to join in herself. Once you start petting her, she may be a little hesitant at first, but you can tell she genuinely enjoys the affection. She wants to be loved, she's simply learning that it's okay to let her guard down. Churu treats also happen to be one of the fastest ways to win her heart.
Snoot is looking for a patient family who will let her continue building confidence at her own pace. With gentle encouragement, kindness, and a few Churu treats, there's no doubt she'll continue blossoming into a wonderful companion. ❤️
